Shipping
I ship via USPS, UPS and rarely FedEx depending on which option is most economical to your location. I ship within 4 business days, however I do currently live rurally and about 25 minutes away from the nearest location that accepts packages, so please be understanding if it does take up to 4 days to ship your package. If it takes any longer, I will notify you. My boxes and packing materials are primarily recycled materials that I have gotten from friends, neighbors, nearby sources, or my own packages. I aim to use as little new material as possible and ask that you reuse the materials your wares arrive in when possible.
International Orders
International orders are accepted, however please reach out to me directly for a quote on shipping.
Refunds / Returns
Refunds will be offered if the item is damaged during shipment. If you receive a damaged piece, please retain all packing materials including the box and contact me within 48 hours of receiving the package so I may begin an insurance claim. This process will require images of the packing materials and broken item. Refunds may not be issued beyond 48 hours of delivery, or if the original packing materials are not kept.
If you are unhappy with your purchase, I do accept returns within one week of your work arriving. For a refund, please contact me via email. You will be responsible for shipping the work back to me. Upon arrival, you will be given a refund minus 25% of the original cost of the object and total cost of shipping if the piece arrives without signs up ware or is broken.
Microwave & Oven
My work is fine to go in the microwave, but in the oven, it is best to heat the piece up with the oven to prevent cracking from occurring from heat shock (when a cold pot is placed in a hot oven).
Cleaning
I recommend hand washing my wares soon after use. It is best to handwash the work as certain dishwasher detergents can occasionally be harsh on soda and wood fired surfaces.
Changing Over Time
Often times handmade pottery includes cracking in the glaze known as crazing. This does not make the wares not food safe but may allow them to change over time. This is something that for many, including myself, is recognize as a way the wares show the poetry of use and memories they gather.
